Biography Laura Church, BS, LMT
Laura graduated from University of TN in biology and Medical Technology in 1990. She has worked as a clinical lab scientist. In 2003, she began massage school because it had helped her with lower back pain. Laura graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2004. She is an AMTA member, with over 700 hours CE's in Reiki, Reflexology, Acupressure, and Therapeutic Massage. She has been licensed in 2004 NC. Laura’s repertoire of skills include: Reflexology, Reiki, Table Thai, Therapeutic massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy, and sound healing with Tibetan and crystal bowls. Laura is also certified as an assistant Tai Chi and Qigong instructor.
Laura’s current focus is to provide restorative treatments with focus on balancing the energy of the body along with working out somatic issues associated with stress. She provides an integrative approach to body work working on pain issues while providing a relaxing space to unwind and restore, incorporating a holistic approach, including mind, body, and spirit. Her philosophy is to facilitate healing, one person at a time. In her spare time, Laura enjoys yoga, Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, hiking, jewelry design, herbalism, and cooking.
